What is Music City Moves!?

There are many ways to get involved with Music City Moves! and encourage active living by design. Nashville has many attributes such as greenways, sidewalks, employer-supported activities and many events, but you can help to promote active living, influence policy change or even facilitate a local program for physical activity.

Below are just a few examples of how you can help:

  • Take the stairs and encourage co-workers to do the same.
  • Walk your child to school. See Walk Nashville Week activities.
  • Establish a walking group in your neighborhood and get out and use those sidewalks!
  • Write a letter in support of proper community design and its impact on active lifestyles. Your letter of support will be utilized in securing funds for Music City Moves! programs and events. Where do I send my letter of support?
  • Walk to lunch.
  • Participate in local events for active lifestyles.
